Maria G. Suniga

She married the love of her life, Remijio Suniga on January 2, 1980. Her family described Maria as being a strong, independent, loving, honest and caring woman. One of Maria’s greatest accomplishments was receiving her U.S. citizenship.

Maria was preceded in death by her loving husband, Remijio Suniga; her son, Johnny Gallegos; her daughter in law, Dony Gallegos; her father, Cecilio Gallegos and mother, Margarita Gallegos; and her two sisters, Elisa Trevino and Consuelo Caballero.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her son, Javy Gallegos; her daughter, Lety Morin; her son in law Caesar Morin; her grandchildren, Patty Gallegos, Valerie Ramirez, Danica Galindo, DeAndra Gallegos, Savannah Smith, Chris Morin, Priscilla Morin, Abbie Morin; and her great grandchildren Aubrey Marquez, Jayden Galindo, Chloe Cecena, Bella Galindo, Jaylah Smith, EZ Hinojosa, Luis Ramirez III, Jordyn Smith, Caiden Shannon, Luchiano Ramirez, and Xylah Rodriguez.

Visitation with family & friends for Maria will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
