Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, “comadre,” grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a beautiful woman and had a wonderful way of keeping people connected.
Though she grew up in Kingsville, Mary had moved to Houston to work in retail which led to a lifetime passion of buying and selling. She left no “baratas,” garage sale or thrift store unconquered, and enjoyed making deals.
She was everyone’s friend. She always prayed for everyone and enjoyed spending time talking with so many people. She loved reading scriptures and sharing passages from the Bible. She was such a people person and a woman of faith.
We will fondly remember Mary for her love, kindness, and spirituality. She loved the almighty Lord Jesus Christ and was always thankful for God’s grace and blessings.

Every time I think of you—and I think of you often!—I thank God.”
