Maria Guadalupe Bueno

Maria Guadalupe Bueno, a resident of Houston, Texas, passed away at the age of 60 on Wednesday, the first of June two thousand sixteen at Houston Northwest Medical Center. She was born on May 3rd, 1956 in Mexico City to Jesus Garcia Orozco and Teresa Garcia Ortiz who have both preceded her in death. She moved to United States at the young age of 16 where she lived in Brownsville for a few years before setting roots in Houston, Texas. She succumbed to medical aliments including being diagnosed as legally blind due to diabetes and receiving dialysis treatment for 14 years as a result of kidney failure. Throughout this turmoil she kept her spirits high and found faith in God to help her overcome many obstacles in life. She is survived by her four sons eldest to youngest; Celestino Garcia, Abel Garcia, Victor Garcia, and Luis Garcia; her brothers and sisters eldest to youngest; Alberto Ortiz, Maria M. Rodriguez, Miguel Garcia, Alejandra Garcia, Mariela “Conchita” Garcia, Teresa Marquez, Eliza Garcia, and Jacqueline Navarro; seven grandchildren eldest to youngest; Alexis Garcia, Abigail Garcia, Brissa Garcia, Perla Garcia, Sierra Garcia, Natalie Garcia, and Jazlene Garcia and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She enjoyed dancing and singing while spending time with family and friends. Her proudest accomplishment was caring for and raising her four sons. She will be deeply missed by all and her warm thoughts will be cherished forever. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6th 2016 from 5pm-9pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 7pm at Crespo Funeral Home located at 2516 Navigation Blvd. Houston, TX 77003. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, June 7th at 10am at Crespo Funeral Home. Her final resting place will take place immediately following the funeral services at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery located at 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, TX 77023.
