Margaret Dobie Jones

Margaret Ann Dobie Jones was born on May 25, 1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the only child of Buford and Patricia Dobie. Her early education was in a private school. She graduated from high school at the age of sixteen. She then attended Texas A&M University and later transferred to Texas A&I University where she met her future husband, Reginald Wayne Jones. To this union was born three children Aisha, Derek, and Ashley.

She worked for several major companies that included Exxon, the United States Postal Service, and the Harris County Toll Road Authority from which she retired after 22 years of service.

Misty loved being around water, that included cruising the world with her beloved husband. They visited many ports around the world while on their travels. Her other joy was being part of the Corvette Club. Where she participated in and won many car show competitions as well as taking part in many charity events. Also, she was a huge football fan. The Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints were her favorite teams.

Preceded in death by her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory and legacy her husband Reginald, daughters, Aisha and Ashley, her son Derek (LaCrystal), grandchildren Kayla, Carson, Kendall, and numerous other relatives and friends.
