She is survived by her two sons, Everett Bradshaw and his wife, Sallie, of Houston, Texas, and Wade Bradshaw and his wife, Chryse, of Charlottesville, Virginia, and their children, Ethan, Gordon, Gillian and Fiona.
Margaret graduated from high school in Gainesville, Florida and Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She Married B.J. Bradshaw in 1948 while he was a law student at Baylor. They moved to Houston in 1950 where “Brad” became a lawyer with the Firm of Fulbright and Jaworski, later becoming a Senior Partner. He died in 1993.
Margaret had been active in Baylor University Women’s Association of Houston, Kappa Kappa Gamma Houston Alumnae Association, Tanglewood Garden Club, The Houstonian Club, River Oaks Country Club, Talk & Trade Investment Club, The Women’s Auxiliary to the Houston Bar Association, and The Memorial-Hermann Foundation.
Margaret was a member of Second Baptist Church and “The Gospel Truth” Bible Study Class.
The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the exceptional care given by Visiting Angels and A*Med Community Hospice.
A memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 25th of November, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Prior to the service, the family will have gathered for a private graveside and interment service at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family request that contributions in honor of Margaret be directed to the Memorial-Hermann Foundation and the B.J. and Margaret Bradshaw Wellness Center, 929 Gessner Rd., Suite 2650, Houston, TX, 77024.
