Luis Torres, 87, was born in Brownsville Tx. on December 15, 1926 and was called home on December 30, 2013 after a valiant battle with cancer. Luis is preceded in death by his late wife, Ruth Torres. Luis is survived by his sons Luis Torres Jr. (Sylvia), Jorge Torres (Blanca), Juan Ramos (Irene), and Isaac Ramos (Jean), and by his daughters Nelda Navarro, Leticia Navarro (Raymond) and Gracie Delgado (James Childress). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, at Forest Park Funeral Home from 5-9 PM. Rosary will be recited at 7 PM. On Saturday January 4, a prayer service will be held promptly at 2PM in the Chapel Of Angels at Forest Park Cemetery, with burial to follow.
