Louise S Hudson

She was born to Joe and Emmie Swinner in Madisonville, Texas. She married Will Tom Hudson on December 6, 1952 and lived happily with him in their home in Houston, raising their children, until his death in 1977.

She is preceded by her father Joe; mother Emmie; her husband Tom; her granddaughter Brittany Hudson and her nephew Jason Tender.

She is survived by her children Janet Guthrie and her husband Don, Gregory Hudson and his wife Elaine; grandchildren Kristen Distefano and her husband Dustin, Rebecca Cryer and her husband Robert, Sean Koster, Joshua Hudson and Hillary Hudson; great-grandchildren Chase, Ava and Remi; brother Don Swinner and his wife Pat, Sister Judy Cox; niece Kami Swinner; nephew Don Swinner; nephew Robert Tender and her precious cat and friend Jake.

She was a lifetime member of Praise Chapel with Roy Love as her pastor for many years. Louise loved and cared for her family and will be missed until that day that we all meet again.

Thank you family and friends for all your love and support. A special thank you from her children to her sister Judy Cox for caring for her these last several years and to Jerry Godfrey who helped the family care for her these last several months.

A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Funeral service will be 10:00am at Forest Park Lawndale, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, with a graveside service at 3pm at Ten Mile Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas.
