Lorraine Helen Ellis, 65, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Katy, Texas. She was born on May 27, 1947 in Rockville Center, New York to Frederick Summers and Gladys McDermott Summers.She is survived by her daughter, Adessa Marie Ellis, sons, John McClure Ellis and John Scott Ellis, three sisters, Susan Transou and her husband Hugh, Sharon Amery and her husband George, and Kathy Fenter, four brothers, Rick Summers and his wife Janet, David Summers, Mark Summers and his wife Shelli and Matt Summers. She is also survived by six grandchildren, McKenna Ellis, Jenna Loredo, Kristen Cumming, Cameron Milian, Emmett Ellis and Jackson Ellis. Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8th, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a service at 7:30 P.M. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9th, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at St. Jude Shrine Catholic Church, 3101 S. Main St. Stafford, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd. Houston, Texas.
