Lorna P. Calderon

Lorna Palacio Calderon, age 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Born on March 27, 1937, in Mexico City, Mexico, Lorna moved to Houston, Texas, where she found love and built a beautiful life with her husband.

Lorna was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. She is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Tellez, and her husband, Jesus Tellez; her son, Joe P. Calderon, and wife, Mary Calderon. Lorna cherished her role as a grandmother to Christopher Tellez, Kaylnn Calderon, Natalia Tellez, Joshua Calderon, and Gabriela Tellez, who brought her immense joy and pride.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jose M. Calderon, as well as her parents, Ricardo and Carmen Palacio, and her siblings, Ricardo Palacio and Elvia DaVeiga.

Lorna's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share cherished memories and honor her legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her name.

Lorna will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
