Nothing that is loved is ever lost.
No one who has touched a life who has brought beauty to the world is ever truly gone. Lisa brought so much beauty to everyone, she always made you smile.

It has been many years since I last saw Lisa in college at SFA, but I will always remember her.  Please know that she lives on in the hearts of her sisters in Sigma Kappa Sorority.  Our prayers are with you.

Bing and Vickie Crosby remember Lisa as one of our dear clients who came to see us every year at our booth at Rodeo Houston. It is hard to believe that barely two months ago, she came blowing through Reliant to our booth in her muddy jeans, fresh from a long shift of steady hard work in the rain as a member of the Breeders and Greeters Committee--bedraggled but beautiful in her contrasting wet windbreaker and favorite fabulous jewelry! She was a lovely lady whom we came to appreciate so much and looked forward to seeing each year. All the staff at Bing Crosby's feel truly saddened and extend deepest sympathy to her loving family.

She and Suzanne were roommates in college and, when I met her, years later, I knew at once why Suzanne loved her so much. We have though of her so often over many years. I just heard about Lisa - my heart goes out to you Tommy.  I have loved Lisa like a sister for 36 years since we were first room mates in college and then sorority sisters. I am still in shock as the last time we talked she said she would plan on coming to Arizona so we could FINALLY meet you!  I tried calling her after the first of the year and never got a hold of her - she was such a great person she probably didn't want to burden me with her problems knowing my sister had just passed away.  OMG!  Please, please contact me in Phoenix, AZ.  My prayers are with you and your family.  I wish I had known so I could have been there for her/you.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Lisa's passing. Although we never worked together at the probation department, our paths crossed throughout the 26 years and we used the limited time we had to 'catch up' on what was new in our lives. I recall how much she loved going to England with her parents and antiquing with her mom. She was real excited to have gotten a particular nautical item she brought back. Later, it was jewelry and gem shows and always...'the rodeo'. Lisa never changed from that sweet, kind, soft-spoken LADY that I met all those years ago. She was a rarity and we are all blessed to have had her touch our lives.

Lisa was so beautiful!  We met in 1979, working together with ex-offenders, before we started at the probation department.  Lisa was the sweetest and kindest person I have ever known.  God bless her and her family in this time of grief and loss.  We will miss her.

I was deeply saddened today to learn of Lisa's passing.  When I started at the Harris County District Attorney's Office, Tropical Storm Allison had knocked the courthouse out of commission and Courts 3 & 4 were combined into one.  Lisa was always smiling and helpful to all in the courtroom, specially us newbies.  Since 2001, I have seen Lisa at the courthouse always her bright, happy self.  I know her family will miss her more, but her courthouse family will also miss her very much as well.

Lisa and the other members of the court staff made me feel at home.  For the years since then, I always welcomed seeing Lisa in the hallways, elevator, etc., because her smiling face always brightened my day.   As you well know, she was a wonderful woman with such a kind spirit.  Her courthouse family will miss her greatly!

I have known Lisa from the courthouse for 25 plus years working side by side in the courts and on prob. issues after that.  I have to say she will truly be missed.  It is hard for me to put into words what a wonderful person she was.  I got very sick last year and she was so considerate checking on me through a mutual friend and so kind when I got back to work. Since I no longer work in the courts I just found out last Thursday that she was back in the hospital I am so sorry I did not get to see her before her departure but I know she is in a lovely place that I will see again oneday.
