Born on November 7, 1951 in Houston, Tx, Leslea was the oldest of three born to Henry (Hank) and Delores (Dee) Lewis. She attended Brookline Elementary, Mount Carmel Intermediate, and then Mount Carmel High School where she graduated from in 1970.
After graduation, Leslea started her career at American General Insurance working in the life insurance department. Then in September 1970 she met the love of her life, Charles Harrison. They married in November, 1973 and resided in Houston, Texas. Upon the birth of her two boys, Nicholas and Zachary Harrison she took a break form AGI to be a full-time mom until her return to AGI where she continued to work until she retired.
Leslea loved being a grandmother and took every chance she had to spend time with her grandkids and spoil each of them. In her free time, she enjoyed gambling, shopping, and baking her well known rum cakes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Chuck Harrison. Sons Nicholas Harrison (Kristi), and Zachary Harrison (Kellie). Also survived by her birth daughter, Lycia Champagne-Buckley (Shawn). Grand children Ivan, Leyland, Korbin, Blaine, Gemma, Zoey Harrison, Phillip Koenning (Natalie) and Michaela Alcocer (Daniel) and four great grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory brothers Mike Lewis (Robbi) of Houston, and Tim Lewis of San Antonio, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Dee Lewis and nephew, Timothy Lewis.
A visitation is scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, March 3, 2023 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm with graveside at 1:00 pm.
