Laura Villegas

Laura nació el 4 de enero de 1978 en Guanajuato, México. Laura recibió una certificación CNA y asistía a la escuela para obtener una licenciatura en enseñanza (estudiantes de educación especial). Se casó con Rafael en el 2023 y vivieron juntos en Houston, Texas.

A Laura le sobrevive su esposo, Rafael Villegas, su madre, Alicia Castellanos, sus hermanos, Alicia Angélica Castellanos, Luis Armando Castellanos, Enrique Castellanos y Eduardo Castellanos. También le sobrevive sus amados hijos, Jobel Redor, Andrea L. Redor, Daniela L. Redor y Fernando López.

Laura trabajó como asistente de maestra de SPED para YES Prep Southeast Secondary. Le encantaba el Tae Kwon Do y cualquier arte marcial. Le gustaba hacer velas y decorar fiestas de cumpleaños y baby showers. Le apasionaba la jardinería y tenía mucho éxito en sus funciones de liderazgo. Ella era muy creativa. Siempre pensando en nuevas ideas.

Un servicio de capilla está programado para el viernes 19 de julio de 2024 a las 10:00 a.m. en la funeraria y cementerio Forest Park Lawndale.

Laura Villegas, 46, of Houston, Texas, passed July 11, 2024.

Laura was born January 4, 1978, in Guanajuato, Mexico. Laura received a CNA Certification and was attending school to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching (Special Education Students). She married Rafael in 2023 and they lived together in Houston, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Rafael Villegas, her mother, Alicia Castellanos, her siblings, Alicia Angelica Castellanos, Luis Armando Castellanos, Enrique Castellanos and Eduardo Castellanos. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Jobel Redor, Andrea L. Redor, Daniela L. Redor and Fernando Lopez.

Laura worked as a SPED Teacher Assistant for YES Prep Southeast Secondary. She loved Tae Kwon Do and any martial arts. She enjoyed making candles and decorating for birthday parties and baby showers. She had a passion for gardening and was extremely successful in her leadership roles. She was very creative. Always thinking of new ideas.

A Chapel Service is scheduled for Friday, July 19, 2024, 10:00 A.M. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home & Cemetery.
