She was born on July 30, 1941 in Houston, Texas, where she grew up. She graduated from Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. She worked as an Administrative Assistant, and in her retirement she started a pet sitting business. She was actively involved in Saint Mary’s Episcople Church in Bellville, Texas, and the Bellville Historical Society.
Raine is preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine “Beta” Phillips; father, Jesse R. Phillips, Jr.; brother, Jess R. Phillips, III; and daughter, Jenny “ViVi” Reed.
Raine is survived by her son, Jackson Roberts; brothers, Robert W. Phillips and wife Betsy; and David S. Phillips and wife Felicia; and five nephews and one niece.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Reception at 12:30 PM on December 14, 2023, at Forest
Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at 3:00 PM for the immediate family only.
