Larry Rogers, 68, Passed away July 15, 2011. Loving and Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Retired from American Airlines after 36 years. He was a 3rd degree Master Mason, Shriner, and member of Spring Masonic Lodge #1174. He was also The East Texas State Representative for the National Street Rod Association for 12 years as well as a 36 year member, past Steward, and Chairman of Transport Worker's Union Local 513 in Houston, Texas. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Rogers. Sons, Larry Rogers, Jr. and wife Michele, Ronald Rogers and wife Andrea. Grandchildren, Jacob Wiley, Jared Landon, Abigail Faith, Evan Wyatt, and Madelyn Claire. Brother, Weldon Rogers. Sisters, Verla Barrios, Neva Payton and husband Gerald. And many other relatives. Family will receive friends at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, Sunday, July 17, 2011. Funeral Service will be held 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2011, Earthman Resthaven Chapel. Officiated by Rev. Jim Rowlett, NSRA Chaplain. Interment to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, Pallbearers: Lynn Beasley, David Blankenship, Randall Broaddus, Mitchell Hicks, David Polnick, Wes Rogers, and Russell Sims.
