Larry Coleman Davis, 79 of Spring, Texas a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. He was born February 19, 1939 in Lindale, Texas to Stewart Elmo and Dorthy (Word) Davis. Larry loved everyone and they loved him, he had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He enjoyed cooking and finding new recipes to try. He also enjoyed watching John Wayne westerns and listening to gospel music. After retiring from being a truck driver, he loved selling beef jerky and being known as the “Beef Jerky Man”.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Stewart and Dorthy Davis and is survived by his son, Clay Davis and wife, Tresa; grandchildren, Tyler, Derek, Luke and Tanner Davis; brothers, Johnny Davis and wife, Mary Lou; Roger Davis and wife, Maria, and Robert Davis; along with sister, Dianne Harwood and husband, Larry and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Davis, Lute Davis, JC Davis, Tyler Davis, Derek Davis and John Allen with Shawn Elkins, Tanner and Luke Davis serving as honorary pallbearers.
