Lance Christopher Thomas was born November 18, 1970 in Kingsville, Texas to Joy and Lonnie Thomas and died February 21, 2016. His earthly journey was short, but he is now celebrating his new journey with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lance had many loves. He had a love for radio and spent many years working as a DJ (a.k.a. LT) at 97.9 the Box and at 102.7/106.9 The Blaze in Tyler, Texas where he also served as program director. He had a love for sports. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to high school football and baseball. He loved his hometown teams, the Texans, the Astros, and the Rockets. He loved his high school, the Langham Creek Lobos, where he played football and baseball. He loved his wife Tiffany and his family, but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was a member of St. Louis Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas where he was a part of men’s choir and served his community by helping with various charitable activities.
Lance is survived by his loving wife Tiffany, his parents Joy and Lonnie Thomas, brother, Kyle Thomas (Tina), his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Clothilda Stewart, and sister-in-law, Clonisha Stewart. Many uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive him.
