Kristie Dixon

Kristie H. Dixon born September 6, 1971 in Hastings England, passed away October 25, 2012 in Houston Texas. She will be greatly missed by her children, Mercedes Dewitt, Joshua Dixon and step-son, David Dewitt III; parents, Glenn and Jennifer Dixon; grandmother, Joan Downing and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all over the world.

Kristie was a very intelligent and accomplished individual. She lived in Ft. Hood TX, Germany, Georgia, Louisiana, California, New Jersey, New York and S. Carolina. She spent 8 years in the US Air Force, spent 6 weeks in Africa during service and had the privilege of going to Vietnam to escort our MIAs back home. Kristie received an Associate Degree in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Phycology. After leaving the Air Force and returning to Houston, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Her employment began at Cypress Creek Hospital in July of 2001 as a Tech, then becoming a nurse and worked her way up to Director of Admissions.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, October 29, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
