Kim Felix Smith, 56, of Katy, Texas passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 5, 1955 in Denver, Colorado to Felix and Zelma Smith and relocated with his parents to Houston, Texas at age 8. He graduated from Bellaire High School and began a career in the field of engineering for oil and natural gas. Kim and his family settled in Katy, Texas. Kim loved his family, gardening, swimming, boating, the outdoors, and the open road. He leaves behind his loving wife, Yulduz, his three sons, Stanton 3, Ryan 26, and Garret 30. He is also survived by his mother, Zelma Smith. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11:00am in the St. Lukes United Methodist Church 3471 Westheimer Rd. Houston, Texas 77027. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00pm on Tuesday December 13, 2011 in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77079. Interment will follow at 3:00PM in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
