Kenton Wayne Powell, 25 of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home. He was born December 30, 1994 in Houston, Texas and was a licensed HVAC refrigeration technician. He was a very compassionate person with the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen. Also, one of the kindest and most gentle people who never spoke a harsh word about anyone. He would assist anyone that expressed concern and he always found the best in what could be a complete stranger. While we had his internal struggles, he was one of the most resilient people that never had an ounce of quit in his heart. Kenton Wayne was definitely a comedian at heart and had a smile that would light up a room. His warmth was contagious and Kenton was clearly ONE of a KIND since the day he was born.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Burns, step father, Ray Burns; girlfriend, Sarah “Kat” Cogswell; sister, Tareena Guerra; brother in law, Raul Guerra and niece Gabriela Guerra; brother, Joe Blanco; grandmother, Yvonne Rose; father, Charles Powell; aunts, Edwina, Nita, Vicki, Lynn, Susie, Deborah, Julie and Brenda; uncles: Doug, Kenneth, Bill and Steve; best friend, John “Squid” Law; siblings, Gregory, Pete, Jeana, Rae-Ann, Cameron, Robert and Kaitlyn; cousins, Christian, Josh, Mary Carmen, Vanessa and favorite puppy Rolo Ironside Burns.
