It is with great sadness that the family of Katie Belle Brown announces her passing on Friday, June 19, 2020, at the age of 86 years. Katie will be lovingly remembered by her sons Steven E. Brown (Allison) of Spring, and David C. Brown (Raye-Lynn) of Houston.
Katie, or Nanny, as she was best known, will also be missed by her 4 grandchildren, Jerid Brown (Nicole) of Houston, Stephanie Borghardt (David) of Baton Rouge , Stephen Becvar (Glorea) of Spring, and Katie E. Brown of Houston; and her two precious great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Hunter Brown. Katie was predeceased by her mother, fondly known as “Grandma Billie”, her mother-in-law Geraldine Brown, who everyone called “MamMaw”, her eldest son Ralph Jeffrey Brown and the love of her life, her husband of 39 years, Carl J. Brown.
There will never be another like our Katie Belle, she was one of a kind. She showed us all how to live our best lives, and left us with the very best of memories. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service in memory of Katie will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at the Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery at 13102 North Fwy, Houston.
