Kathryn Sue Tierney

Kathryn Sue Groth Tierney age 94 passed away on Thursday April 14, 2022. She was born on October 10, 1927 in Houston Texas where she and her husband raised their family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 1/2 years, Robert Gregory Tierney, her parents Charles Albert Groth,and Edith Emma Cotney Groth, brothers Charles and Robert Groth. She is survived by her children Susan Lahrmann, Linda Mullens, husband Tom, grandchildren Steven Lahrmann, wife Karla, Kelly Burns, husband Russell, Brian Mullens, wife Tara, Michael Mullens, wife Dora, four great grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Lori, Rylee. Momma/Nana will be truly missed by each and every one of us.

A visitation for Kathryn will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
