1940-2016
Karen J. Aldag 76, long time Houston resident passed away peacefully on Monday the 5th of December at home following a long illness.
Karen graduated from University of Wisconsin in 1962. She and her husband lived in many places throughout the world because of her husband’s job. They both loved traveling the world and Karen especially enjoyed telling the grandchildren wonderful things about all the different places that had been visited and friends made.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years Michael A. Aldag, her parents Thelma Williams Cook and Bernard S. Cook, and her brother Jerry Cook.
She is survived by son Mark Aldag and wife Siok Hoon “Lauren” Sim; twin grandchildren Morgan A. and Alexandria E. all of Houston; sister, Mary Logan and husband Tom of St. Louis, Missouri and brother in-law, Jack Aldag and wife Sharon of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and her nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service and interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
