June Pinckard Jones, 83, born to Alice and Samuel Pinckard on May 27, 1928 in Cass County, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Houston, TX. She worked for Western Union for many years and retired in 1987. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Ansel “Bill” Jones of Houston, Texas and her daughter, Judy Jones Smith of Tomball, Texas. Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Larry Jones, Robert Jones and wife Pam, Scott Jones, Sam Kelly Jones and wife Lisa, Michael Jones and wife Carla; son-in-law, Gary Smith, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Chapel with a committal to follow at Houston National Cemetery, Rev. John Godby officiating.
