Julio Torres, Sr. was 69 when he sadly passed on July 16, 2020. He was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was a loving husband to his wife Tomasa Torres; father to Rosa Torres, Julio Torres Jr. (Esmeralda Torres), Marisela Alvarado (Arturo Alvarado), Jose Torres, and Benito Torres; and loving and caring grandfather and great-grandfather to Jennifer Arevalo, Jonathan Arevalo, Julio Torres III, Adriel Alvarado, Jaden Torres, Isis Alvarado, Justin Torres, and Michael Caballero.
Julio was loyal and hardworking, he worked his entire life to support and provide for his family. After retiring, he would spend his mornings feeding his chickens in the backyard. He enjoyed this new profound free time with his grandchildren, picking them up from school and buying them Blue Bubble Gum and Lime raspas (snow cones). Julio also loved spending quality family time by going out to eat for special occasions. He would spontaneously invite his family over for a barbeque, which always ended with a game of Loteria (Mexican Bingo). He was known for helping others in need, no matter who or what it was. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
He is now watching over all of us next to his grandson Jonathan.
