Julie Williams Russell passed away on the 26th of December 2012 at her home in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born on the 4th of November 1953 in Hollywood, California, to the late Kenneth and Lavon Williams.
Julie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Richard Russell of Sugar Land; son, Justin Russell of Richmond; son, Travis Russell and his wife, Ashley, also of Richmond; sister, Wendy Butts of Del Mar, California; and her two Golden Retrievers, Harley and Scooter. Numerous beloved relatives and dear friends also survive her.
A service, in celebration of Julie’s life, is to be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 25th of January, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Douglas W. Richnow, Senior Associate Rector for The Church of St. John the Divine, is to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at a venue to be announced during the service.
Prior to the service, the family will have gathered for a private inurnment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
