Judy accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. O.J. Dolphus SR. She attended HISD where she received her education in Houston Independence School District and received her high school diploma.
The last chapter here on earth of Judy Curley’s life was recorded on October 1, 2022 in Plantersville, TX. She is preceded in death by her father - Ralph Allen, mother - Warnett Allen, brother- Craig Allen, and Grandson-Derrick Chatman Jr.
Judy was most humbly grateful for her children, son-in-laws, and grandchildren who were all very special to her and sources of her pride and great joy.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and step mother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories, husband Michael Curley of Plantersville, TX; daughters Kandy Simmons-Chatman (Derrick Chatman) and Krystal Platt (Roger Platt) of Houston, TX, Michael Curley Jr. (Sue Curley) and Mikel Curley of Houston, TX, and Jasmine Curley of Houston, TX; grandchildren Derrick and Christion Graham, Chinnah Chatman, Elijah and Joziah Curley of Houston, TX, Dez’Meyon and Drai’Jaye Randle of Houston, TX, Roger Platt Jr. of Houston, TX, Jaquard Chatman of Houston, TX, and One great-grandchild Kaycen J.C. Graham. Two sisters Sharon Allen of Houston, TX and Eunetta Sheffield (Charles Sheffield) of Austin, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
