Joshua was preceded in death by his precious baby boy, Grayson James Hensley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Evie Ryan Hensley; mother, Mary Ellen Hensley, father, Roger Allen Hensley and his wife, Pamela; sister, Krystin Opal Hensley; brother Michael Hedge, along with Michael's father, Chris Hedge; step-brother Joshua Post; aunt, Rosetta Hensley; uncles, John Musser and Byron Fackenthall, and grandparents, Byron & Chloe Ella Fackenthall and Jay & Sonja Musser.
Joshua graduated from Stratford High School in 2007. His fondest memories included dressing up for Prom and Homecoming each year, and dressing out for football to walk onto the field to do his very best, play his hardest, and give it his all as the running back and wide receiver, especially his senior year when his team made it to the playoffs as District Champs. Josh then went on to graduate from Texas State University in 2012 with a BBA majoring in Economics.
Josh was captivating with an engaging personality. When he smiled, he changed the world, and when he spoke, people listened. He was complex and absolutely beautiful in every way. He was a dear friend if you had the pleasure to know him. He will be missed dearly.
Being an accomplished athlete, and an outdoorsman, he enjoyed running, swimming, riding his bike, playing football and baseball, really, just anything and everything life had to offer from the outdoors. He loved adventure, challenges, he was a rare soul with a wild spirit. He was our wild child and we loved him for, and despite, all of that.
Joshua cherished the short time he had with his son Grayson, and spent as much time as possible with his daughter Evie. He was so looking forward to spending much more precious time with Evie making memories in the future.
