Thank you to everyone for the kind and humorous words about my dear Daddy.  He was a very smart man and I am so very proud to be his daughter.  I sure miss talking to him and his sense of humor.  I hope to carry some of it on to others in his memory.

Dear Family,
I have known Joe for about 10 years since he went to work for John Zavoda. I have been doing business with Zavoda since 1989. I have had the pleasure of breaking bread with both Joe and John a few times over the years. It is hard for me to believe that they have both moved on to a better place. Joe and I have had many conversations about a world of different things over the years and was always a pleasure to talk with him. I cannot believe I won't hear his voice again when I call Zavoda. I considered Joe a friend and not just someone I did business with. I do wish I had known before today that his middle name was Max. How much fun I would have had calling him Max, or Maxwell, or Maxwell Smart, or Max-a-million, or many others. Ha, Ha, Ha!
I will miss him and our conversations and I will think of “Max” often and enjoy the memories of our friendship.

Rest in peace, Joe.  Joe and I met as we graduated our respective high schools, through the Army, his courtship and marriage to Mary Lou and up to now.  I had last visited Joe about a month ago at Zavoda.  My condolences go out to Pamela, members of his family, and his good friends.  He will be missed.

One of my best joys when calling Zavoda was talking to Joe. He always called me Miss Debbie and was the greatest person. I will truely miss him.

There will never  be anyone I know like Joe King.  He meant so much to me and was so kind to my family.  What he gave me was priceless. Can't wait to see him again someday.

I'm so sorry for your loss, dear cousins.

The bestest brother in law EVER. He always wanted to know how to get off that 1st place on the family list.  I guess he figured it out. Rest in peace Uncle Jophus and give Aunt Nuni a kiss from us.
