Joseph Jeffrey Cone, Jr. was born in Houston, Texas. He attended St. Francis Episcopal from 2nd through 8th grade, graduated from Memorial high school in 1999 where he went on to attend University of Texas and the University of Houston. He played baseball, basketball and soccer all through elementary and junior high, then went on to play football all through high school. He enjoyed all sports including water skiing and snowboarding. He worked closely with his dad and enjoyed going to U of H games together. He fell in love with Keaten in 2013 and got to be a part-time father to her little girl, Charlee Jane, whom he adored. Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Penni Cone, his brother, James Cone along with Brooke and Parker Cone.
A celebration of life memorial service for Joseph will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. Following the celebration of life memorial service will be a reception at Highline Park, 600 N. Shepherd Dr., Suite 499, Houston, Texas 77007.
