Johnny was a family man. He was very fond of hanging out with his cousins and playing baseball. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he cherished a lot. You knew Johnny was happy if you saw him gambling and working on his cars. His hobbies included going to the casinos and going out to eat. His favorite color was blue and his favorite music genre was Tejano music. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
Johnny is survived by his spouse, Claudia Martinez; his daughters Amy Torres, Norma Torres, Krystal Segundo, and Angela Salazar; his mom Rose Mary Ortiz; his dad Benny Martinez and his step-mom Rosa Martinez; his siblings Paul (Canoe) Martinez, Michael Martinez, Edward Salazar, Mona Salazar and Amanda Amaya; his grandchildren Jayla, Christopher, Kane, Alyssa, Jose, Joshua, Kristian, Jose and Jaelynn.
