A Time to Celebrate Life Johnnie Robinson was born on July 7, 1947 in Varnado, Louisiana to the late Johnny and Nancy Robinson. At an early age he united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Johnnie graduated from Wesley Ray High School and later moved to Houston where he united with New Macedonia Baptist Church and Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was employed at Cameron Iron Works for 16 years. He received his CDL license from San Jacinto Jr. College and worked for Trimac as a Truck Driver for 26 years before retiring. A Time to Embrace Johnnie was united in holy matrimony to Claudzella Robinson for 43 years and to this union was three children; Brigida, Terrence and Jocelyn. A Time to Rest Johnnie departed this life Monday, February 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearlie Dee Boyd and Annie Lee Lucas and four brothers, James Curtis Harry, Ezekiel Robinson, Leroy Robinson and Levi Robinson. He leaves to mourn a loving wife Claudzella Robinson; two daughters Brigida (Rick) Addison, Jocelyn (Darrell) Eldridge; one son Terrence (Tedra) White; fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; four sisters, Eddie M. Bickham, Louise (Robert) Smith, Ellen (Richard) Matthews and Jerri (Rudolph) Thompson; three brothers, Frankie (Frances) Robinson, Billy Robinson and Charles Robinson; two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
