Mr. Provenzano had resided in Weimar for the past 20 years, after previously residing in Houston. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. In his professional career he was a Route Salesman before joining their Management Team for Flowers Industries, Inc. where he retired after 35 years of service. Fishing, hunting and racing cars were his favorite hobbies. Mr. Provenzano was known to be an avid storyteller with a great sense of humor. He was very social and always enjoyed meeting new people. He dearly loved his wife of sixty-five years and adored his 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. He was very family oriented and participated in all their school and sporting activities. Mr. Provenzano was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Vincent de Paul parish while living in Houston.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Jane Sanders Provenzano of Weimar; daughters, Deborah L. Blue of Spring, Lori D. Provenzano of Houston; grandsons, Johnathon B. Nunley, and Daniel A. Nunley; granddaughters, Kris C. Jones, and Misty Skye Blue; brother, Anthony Provenzano and wife Sandra of Sugarland; sister, Linda Jean Marino and husband Bernard of Missouri City; sister-in-law, Verna Poole and husband Larry Poole of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents as stated above; and brothers Matthew B. Provenzano and Ross V. Provenzano.
