He love skateboarding, wrestling, surfing, playing golden tee golf and golfing on Sundays.
John was an High school graduate. He was best known as "old school', always brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He loved to make people laugh. He would drop what he was doing when anyone needed him and always put others before himself. He loved to have himself a cold beer after a long hot day in the sun.
He is proceeded in death by: Virginia Becker-sister, Julia McCrary-step mom, Syble McCrary-mom.
John is survived by: Megan McCrary- daughter, Christel Blackburn-spouse, Lyle Landwert-grandson, John McCrary Sr.-dad, Bill McCrary-brother, and Daniel McCrary-brother.
He will and always be loved and miss.
A memorial service for John will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
