John Oren Churchill

John was born on September 25th,1953. He was the only son of John R. Churchill and Evelyn Jenny Churchill. He was preceded in death by his parents. John grew up in the Houston Heights. He went on to University at Stephen F Austin. After college he moved to family land in Montgomery where he would stay for the remainder of his life. He remained connected to the Heights through childhood friends and his mother who continued to live there till her death. John is survived by his son John "JR" Churchill, daughter in law Kristen Churchill and grandson John "Jack" Churchill.

A visitation for John will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. Funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 PM. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, Texas 77023.
