Jessie Leija, born December 27, 1922 passed away December 28, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ernest Leija; parents, Soledad Ramos and Pete Sanchez; sister, Lucy Renteria; brother, Bruno Sanchez. Jessie will be greatly missed by her sons, Pete A Leija and wife Patsy, Ernest Leija Jr., Joel Leija and wife Jeannie; daughters, Lorraine Medina, Yvonne Y. Leija, Vivian J. Leija; 12 grandchildren and 35+ great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 4:00 pm Thursday, January 1, 2015, with a Vigil at 2:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, January 2, 2015 at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
