Jerry Don Ratcliff

Jerry graduated from MacArthur Senior High School. He met Sheri in Humble and together they united as one on July 7, 2010. Jerry had a career in Durable Medical Equipment, specializing in Hospice Care. He won several awards for outstanding customer service. He had a passion for antiquing, working in the yard, the beach, the smoky mountains, and a love for dogs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George W. Ratcliff and Vera H. Ratcliff.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Ratcliff; children, Savannah Lee (Kenneth), Lauren Templonuevo (Chrislord), and Ryan Ratcliff (Jennifer); grandchildren, Addison Lee, Bryson Lee, Sofia Jimenez, Ethan Jimenez, Novalee Templonuevo, Miloh Templonuevo, Abigail Ratcliff, and Lucas Ratcliff; sister, Linda Paden (Daniel); along with a host of family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Jim Powell, Mark Schindler, Kenneth Lee, Danny Lopez, Josh Ingram, and Ryan Ratcliff.

A special thanks to Enhabit Hospice, especially to Charlotte, Lakeshia, and Rochelle for providing exceptional love and care.

A visitation for Jerry will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, followed by a burial at 2:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
