She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, John Herman Gehring, Sr. and her brother, Allen James Kaufhold. She is survived by two sons, John Herman Gehring, Jr., wife, Lucy, and their three children, Jane Bretz, Carl Gehring and Jean Cason; and Larry Allen Gehring, wife, Alice and their two children, Tracy Roder and Joe Gehring. She leaves behind eight great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins and other relatives.
Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff of Tuscany Village Nursing Home for the kind and loving care that they gave our mother.
Visitation will be at Forest Park Funeral Home, Lawndale on Sunday, March 27th from 4:00pm-7:00pm and funeral services will be March 28th at 11:00am in Forest Park's main chapel.
