Jay Matthews, 59, of Katy, Texas, passed away February 25, 2020. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on July 2, 1960 to Jay Kay Matthews and Mary Patricia Matthews. Jay had a career in Computer Tech and Oil & Gas Compaq Computers; Toshiba Industries & Zachry Holdings.
He had a passion for Golf, Music, Baseball, & Softball, Radio Controlled Aircraft, Motorcycles and the S.F. 49ers, "Joe Montana was his guy".
He was preceded in death by father Jay Kay Matthews, mother Mary Patricia Matthews, brother Steven Mark Matthews and sister Lou Anne Matthews.
He is survived by 4 brothers; Michael, Jeffrey, Matt and Stanton. 3 nephews and 4 nieces along with 5 uncles and 6 aunts, and numerous cousins and adoring friends.
