Jason Michael Bowen

Jason graduated from Lane Center and attended Village Learning Center. Jason brought great joy to his family, he was always happy and loving.

He would always pat his daddy’s knee when it was time for lunch. Jason was born with a rare genetic disease ATR-X Syndrome. His diagnosis was unknown at birth, he was later diagnosed at the age of 22.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett (Red) and Belle Bowen, Jerome and Edna Barta; and his aunt, Lisa McMillan.

He is survived by his parents, William (Bill) and Wanda Bowen of Humble Texas; sister, Michelle and Husband J.R. Warren of Spring TX; aunt, Cindy and husband Pete Kegg of League City TX; uncle, Larry and wife Valerie Bowen of Houston Texas; uncle, Doug McMillan of Houston Texas; cousin, Lindsey and husband Clint Swonke of Spring Texas; as well as nephews, Nicholas and William Warren.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations be made in Jason's memory to The Village Centers 3819 Plum Valley Drive Kingwood TX 77339.

A very special thanks to the staff at Village Learning Center, Staff at St Luke’s The Woodlands, and Christine Coulter.

The family will have visitation on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston Texas.
