She was born in Canton, Ohio, and after graduation from New Philadelphia High School, she received her Registered Nurse training at Mercy Hospital in Canton. She began her service career in 1950 working at Union Hospital in Dover, OH. When she and her family moved to Houston, TX in 1968 she worked at several Houston Hospitals and Doctor's offices as an RN. She retired from Sam Houston Memorial Hospital in 1995. She was a member of Terrace United Methodist Church and then, Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Jane Seibert of Dallas; sons Brad (Ann Marie), Jeff (Jana), Rick (Patricia) and daughter Tammy Morgan Heinrich (Tim); ten grand children, 2 great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
The family began receiving visitors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19th, in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, in Houston, Texas, where funeral services began at 2:00 p.m.
