Janey Meadors Sampson, 61, born in Lubbock, Texas in 1954 to Adolphus DeWitt Meadors and Freda Maxidean Jackson. Janey, leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 42 years Lon Sampson, her nieces and nephews she loved like they were her very own, her cat Mr. Peepers and dog Little Red. Janey was in bad health but still prepared breakfast every day for Lon up till she couldn’t anymore. Janey hobbies included collecting bells and thimbles. Janey will be truly missed. A Memorial Service for Janey Meadors Sampson will be at Brookside Funeral Home on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2 p.m.
