James Swaty Mele, 88, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 in her home at Oakmont Healthcare of Katy, Texas. James was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. James was retired from River Oaks Bank and Trust. She was a member of Bear Creek Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Tim and David Swaty; daughter, Shelley Ryznar; 4 granddaughters and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Elaine Swaty; husbands, Edward M. Swaty and Joseph Mele. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012, 2-6 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012, 10 am at Forest Park Westheimer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association.
