James Edward Jones Jr. was born in Midland, Texas on June 12, 1959 to the parents of James Edward Jones Sr. and Sally Mae Jones.
James graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas. He resided in Houston, Texas. James was employed as a new car salesman. James loved the Lord and at an early age accepted Christ. He was the oldest of 3 children, reared by parents who instilled in all of them the virtues of the love of God, respect for self and others, devotion to family and a strong work ethic. He was a very compassionate person.
James is survived by his parents James and Pauline Jones of Katy, Texas; siblings, Darrell Jones of Rosenberg, Texas, Kevin and Joann Jones of Houston, Texas, Ronald Coleman of Houston, Texas, Eddie and Tracy Coleman of Houston, Texas and his daughter Jamee Jones of Los Angeles, California and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
