He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School Houston, TX in 1947.
He married Vivian Elizabeth Reider on 8/31/1951. He served actively 2yrs in the Army Corps of Engineers. From the construction experience gained from his Father and the Army, he had a long career as a Brick Mason. After retiring, he continued to lay brick/block/stone etc. as a MAPS missionary volunteer until the age of 90 yrs old.
Bud is survived by two sons, Carleton "Corky" (Pam) Cude of Spring, TX, Roland (Brenda) Cude of Footville, WI, a daughter Beverlyn "Bev" (Steve) Bankes of Willis, TX. A brother Paul Dean (Pat) Cude of Holly Lake Ranch, TX. 12 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren. And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian (Reider) Cude, his brothers Norris Ermine Cude, Edwin Earl Cude, Jimmy Odell Cude, Jackie Junior Cude, and his sisters Ruby Marvine Howard, Juel Inez Cude, Falby Celestine Cude, and Naomi Ruth McMullen.
Celebration of Bud's passing to his eternal home in the presence of Our Heavenly Father, Our Savior, and the Family members who have gone before will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Visitation begins at 9am. Celebration of Life Service at 11am. Graveside service at Noon.
There will be a reception at North Central Church at 1:30pm. This is located at 25130 Aldine Westfield Rd., Houston, TX 77373.
