James, I was so sorry to hear about your father's passing. I know that it was a very sad and difficult time for you and your family. You have my very deepest sympathy. Mourning a loss as great as this is not easy, however, I think it is made more bearable by your faith. Knowing that death marks a beginning, not just an end, is one of the most comforting principles that faith teaches us.

On this Easter weekend, my family has spoken of you and of our shared faith in Jesus Christ. We are praying for comfort and peace for your family. As He lives, we know you live, and that one day we will all be together again in His kingdom.

I went to church today and really experienced the Easter message of hope and reassurance.  I know you are with mom and dad, all our family, and all those you loved.  I look forward to joining you all.

I remember most the week I spent in your house in Tulsa and going to to Roughnecks soccer game and eating tomatoes at every meal.  I think back on that and smile.  Know that Karin and I have your family in our prayers.  We will meet again in heaven.
