Jackson Alexandre Murray, 22, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010 near New Orleans, LA due to an automobile accident.
Jackson was born May 6, 1987 in Houston, Texas. He was a graduate of Bellaire High School in 2006. He had dual citizenship in both the USA and France. He spoke French fluently and spent many summers in France. Currently, he was a senior at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA as an accounting major. While at LSU, he received numerous academic honors, served the Student Government as a Business College Senator, and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, where he served as Treasurer. Jackson was to graduate this year. Upon graduation, he was to serve an internship with Coca Cola in France. It was his dream to eventually live in Paris. Jackson was a die-hard LSU football fan. He loved sports, music and clothes. His friends would often seek his advice as to whether or not they were dressed appropriately for the occasion. Jackson lived life to the fullest and would always bring a smile to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Jackson is survived by his parents, William “Jack” and Therese Murray of Houston; and many family members and friends in the US, France, Germany and Belgium.
A Memorial Service Celebrating Jackson’s Life will take place at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Chapel of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, 10202 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77024.
