Some people walk the earth for a short time, however God blessed Jackson Bradford Jr. with 71 fantastic years. He answered the master’s call on July 4, 2022. God called him home where he is now rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.
Jackson Bradford Jr.,was born February 21,1951 in Marthaville, Louisiana, to Jackson & Beulah Bradford. He was the sixth child of eight children born to this union.
Jack accepted Christ at a early age. He attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Marthaville, Louisiana. Jack attended school in Louisiana, where he graduated from Allen High School in 1969. He attended Central Louisiana Technical Community College, where he studied Welding. Jack graduated from the Welding Program and obtained a Welding Certification.
Jack soon moved to Southern California, and began working for Eagle Mountain Iron Mining/ also known as Southern Pacific Railroad, where he worked as a Field Technician. In 1977, Jack married his lovely wife Luebertha Bradford of 45 years. In hopes for better opportunities, Jack decided it was time for a career change. He attended Amercia Truck Driving School in Riverside California. He completed the program and obtained his CDL license/certification. Soon after completion of all course requirements, Jack quickly was given an opportunity to work for Alco Transportation INC, as a Truck Driver. He was employed for several years before retiring. Jack and his wife relocated to Houston to enjoy their retirement.Jack displayed kindness through his actions and deeds. He was always willing to assist others in need. Jack absolutely enjoyed going fishing. This was his favorite pass time. Through Jack, we now know the meaning of resilience and perseverance.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife Luebertha Bradford, Parents: Jackson & Beulah Bradford, Grandparents: Fad & Susie Bradford, Brothers: Lee Autry Bradford, Heuy Glen Bradford, Charles Bradford and Sister: Dottie Moore.
Jack leaves to cherish in his memories: 2 Children, 4 Stepchildren, 5 Grandchildren, 11 Step Grandchildren, 7 Step Great Grand Children, 3 Siblings and a host of Nieces, Nephews and dear Friends
A visitation for Jackson will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
