Jackie Elaine Scroggins Walton, 71, of Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, the 28th of January 2017. She was born on June 2, 1945 in Hempstead, Texas to Jasper “Jack” Newton Scroggins and Opal Irene Tillery Scroggins. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Edward “Bubba” Lee Scroggins, Howard “Skipper” Wayne Scroggins, and Kennith William Scroggins, I; and 1 sister, Ellen “Kay” Scroggins. Jackie is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Wesley “Buddy” Herbert Walton; 3 sisters: Dolores Ann Watson, Betty Ruth Ramsey and husband Michael, and Ada Celesta Houk and husband James; her children: Patricia Lynne Walton Witt and husband Roy, Sheila Renee Walton Price, Tracey Lee Walton, and Thomas Lee Scroggins; 3 grandchildren: Austin Travis Witt, Caitlyn Elizabeth Price, and Christopher Thomas Michels; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date at Brookside Memorial Park.
