Jack Carter Minter, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Jack served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from Shell Oil after 35 years of service. Mr. Minter is preceded in death by his son, Gary Lynn Minter, brothers; George Minter and Jerry Minter. He is survived by his wife Betty Minter, son Ken Minter (Debbie) grandchildren; Russell Minter, Margaret Seay (Brad), Wendy Minter, Justin Minter and Ryan Minter. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 25, 2010, 1pm – 2pm at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled for 2pm in the Family Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In Liu of flowers the family request all donations be made out to the: Susan G.
