Jack Richard Beezley, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on August 10, 1930, near Austin, Texas, Jack was the son of Clarence Vivian Beezley and Francis Evans Beezley. He was the youngest brother of Clarence Evans Beezley, Doris Lenora Smelser, and his half-brother Horace Vivian Beezley.
Jack was a proud descendant of the original Williamson County settlers, a heritage he cherished throughout his life. He served his country honorably during the Korean War as a member of the United States Air Force. After the war, he built a long career at Western Electric, where he worked until his retirement.
Jack was married to his beloved wife, Thelda Marie Beezley, for 64 wonderful years until her passing. A man of deep faith and commitment, Jack was an active and devoted member of Atascocita United Methodist Church, where he formed lifelong friendships and contributed to the church community.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie, and his youngest son, Bill Beezley. Jack is survived by his son Mike Beezley and his wife Patricia, his daughter-in-law Winnie Beezley, as well as grandchildren Kourtney, Erin, Morgan, Caitlin, Joshua, Jason, Trace, Brent, Tyler, Cody, Nicky, Deana, and Marvin, along with many great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply.
Jack was known for his quick wit and could always be counted on sharing a joke or funny story to lift the spirits of those around him. His humor brought joy to family gatherings and brightened the lives of all who knew him. His legacy of laughter and loved will be remembered fondly.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 14th at 9:00am. A service to celebrate Jack's life will be held on Monday, October 14th at 11am at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with burial at follow at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Atascocita United Methodist Church.
Rest in peace, Jack. Your laughter and lightheartedness will never be forgotten. And remember, "5 o'clock comes early!"
